Youtube and Video Marketing is an in-online marketing trend not to be ignored. See for yourself and search (in Google of course) a leading term / keyword in your specific industry and see where it’s listed in the natural rankings. Now click on the more options link in Google and then click on video, and the 0-4 minutes posted in the past week. Most likely your results will be zero and what this is telling you is you better be recording marketing video’s for your company / brand… Youtube and video marketing is the not to be taken lightly and should you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call me, thanks in advance.

I’ve been following him since 2006- ish while employed with Solid Cactus, now a Web.com company. I was fortunate in attending the Internet Retailer (IR) show in Chicago in 2008 and was able to read most of his book while in route to Chicago and during downtime show times. Since then, the book is never more than 10 feet away from me as his strategies are dead on all of the time.

It really surprises me that some businesses still do not have any sort of analytics installed on their websites. The data and click history that is provided is tremendously important for business decisions moving forward. It takes like 15 minutes to install, simple stuff.

Google Analytics has provided me insights to my clients websites more that any other internet marketing tool on the market. A former co-worker of mine made a reference one day and and it has stuck with me ever since, post click optimization. The output of the analytics in GA can assist you in landing page optimization, content management and overall web design / re-design.

If you are managing your Adwords in house and do not have Google Analytics on your site, do yourself a favor and call me. There is magic in Adwords & GA, you will not believe your eyes…

Where Do You Go for Online Marketing Advice?

It’s October 28th, 2009 and the Holiday Season (starts w/Halloween) is upon us. If you are in the ecommerce marketplace, your plans have been set for quite some time and it’s just some tweaking here and there but, if you are running your business by the next big email you received last night, good luck…

I don’t jump at the latest and greatest online marketing tool or strategy but I do my due diligence in time. There are many really great small business 1-2 person at home office professionals developing some really simple to use and cost effective tools.

What industry are you in? What are your current struggles? Has your website been giving you the information over time so it sort of tells you what you should be doing instead of guessing? Do you have Google Analytics installed on every page in your site?

If you have 1/2 hour to commit, I’ll address any and all concerns as best I can and as upfront and with the utmost integrity…
