I’ve been following him since 2006- ish while employed with Solid Cactus, now a Web.com company. I was fortunate in attending the Internet Retailer (IR) show in Chicago in 2008 and was able to read most of his book while in route to Chicago and during downtime show times. Since then, the book is never more than 10 feet away from me as his strategies are dead on all of the time.

It really surprises me that some businesses still do not have any sort of analytics installed on their websites. The data and click history that is provided is tremendously important for business decisions moving forward. It takes like 15 minutes to install, simple stuff.

Google Analytics has provided me insights to my clients websites more that any other internet marketing tool on the market. A former co-worker of mine made a reference one day and and it has stuck with me ever since, post click optimization. The output of the analytics in GA can assist you in landing page optimization, content management and overall web design / re-design.

If you are managing your Adwords in house and do not have Google Analytics on your site, do yourself a favor and call me. There is magic in Adwords & GA, you will not believe your eyes…
